This course is designed to take users through a review of the elements that are a part of coordinate systems. Basic Geodesy, review of types of map projections, and review of geoids will be included. The course will include a review of the different types of methods for producing a local coordinate system that conforms to local survey project control. The review of producing local coordinate systems will also include discussions of advantages and disadvantages involved in each method.
